What a year for us OG enthusiasts… We get the best retro 3s ever and the best retro 2s ever. We also got a very solid Playoff 12 retro. 2022 has been a good year for this hobby.. Let’s hope 2023 keeps the energy going.

Toe looks great.

The leather part of the toe looks great. Unfortunately they’re still using the previous release’s style of outsole that has that big spring-toe angle that curves the whole front of the shoe upward. It’s unreal how they just always, always miss some obvious and easy detail. I’m still totally in for a pair, but it’s comical how there’s just always something, no matter what.

Yeah, I don’t care what anyone says, there’s NOTHING like getting a retro like the Fire Red 3’s. We want the shoe as close to the OG as possible in brand new form. Not aged. We can age them ourselves by wearing them, thank you very much.

I was thinking about this the other day, Jordan Brand should go hard as **** for 2023.. Make a big marketing campaign like “Year of the 23” and release like one OG colorway of every shoe 1-23 or something like that

I questioned this in the FR 3 thread…

But I’m in for at least two pairs. And wouldn’t be mad at anyone who decides to buy 10 pairs!!

Toe looks great.

The 2004 & 2008 pair was straight garbage, the toe box and they even had the Red piping Trim on the sides going to far down toward the toe box, the line suppossed to stop and the last eyelet. ..ish
Birds eye view of the Toe box just looked weird imo

The 2022 version is GREAT, but 94 is better material, bigger red plastic heel counter/Nike font on the back, better toebox, plus the collar was higher, that said still coppin the 22version
