Oh, my fault, then. I said what I said because I looked at your pic for a solid minute, blew it up on my laptop screen, and couldn't and still can't see any glitter on your shoes. Then when I noticed all the gold on the ground, I figured that was the joke. I definitely cannot see anything on those IIIs LOL

The glitter does wipe off pretty easily though, even if it’s really bad. I figured that’s what he meant when he said he cleaned them.

Exactly. I had wiped them down before I put them on. Didn’t mean for all of this to be so confusing.
Like I said it wasn’t anything major, it was just the first time I had noticed it.

I want the WC3s, however, not now as they would be impossible to get with the way things are now. It is truly bizarre that they still haven't come back yet. Even the FTL version (hate the clear sole on those) was not over 7 years ago...wow.

Like mine, and glad to have them but feel the same in regards to the OG feel...Thus, I dumped all of my extra pairs, and stocked up on the Red Cement 3's. Blasphemously, I'll transform my Reds to Black when the time comes to re-up! lol

LOL I get it but it’s worth much more to give your son some heat to rock IMO. But don’t get me wrong I definitely understand, my 16 year old son is a size 11 and I’m a size 12. He’s keeps trying to tell me that when he fits a size 12 he’s going to be wearing my shoes and I’m like the hell you are
but most likely I’ll let him wear some of them, but I’m scared

Trust me, it's a great feeling being able to pass down sneakers to your son. My 15yr old is in a 12 like me now so I've given him over 20 pairs. The gratitude from him is priceless IMO

How long before he grows into them?

He's a 10 now, I'm a 10.5. He's very picky about how his shoes fit. I've bought him pairs that don't quite fit him the way he likes (they're too loose, they're too tight, the heel slips a bit, the laces don't tie right....it kills me...) and he wears them a few times, then they sit. If he wears mine, and enjoys them and beats the heck out of them, trust me, I'll be thrilled.

However, more than likely, he won't find them comfortable (which they aren't compared to the modern Nikes I get him), he'll wear them a handful of times, then never wear them again. Once he wears them I won't want to wear them again; that's the real problem. He's hard on his shoes, so they'll be trashed and stinky after a few wears...heh.

As you all note, the feeling of sharing with him would be great. I'll see how it goes. I actually bought him the BC3s last year in my size for when he grows into them so I wouldn't have to give up my pair. How could I not have the BC3s in my collection to wear! Got them for retail a year before the madness thankfully. Anyway, we'll see how it goes. I'll probably just keep them for another year to see how thing go with him.

Nope, let him wait until they retro again in a few years imo. I'm in the same situation myself. I am hoping the aftermarket proces crash when things are more back to normal. Very hard to UNDS a pair of shoes that can be sold at over 2x what they retailed for. Specifically when they were grs that might have been gotten on sale!
