Because Nike messed up the colors; they made the blue too dark and made the voltage yellow air unit smaller and duller in color (the retros have aflat, dark yellow).

A real shame they couldn't get them right...the originals don't pop up on ebay too often and their wearability is questionable.

they werent received too well by fans. As said before, the colors were all off, just like the ATC Agassis. Typical NIKE.... just wait for the Uptempos and seehow bad they butcher it

People complained about the colours but 4 real OG or retro in most colourways these are a dope shoe.

Back in 95 I had a Euro black/graphite/navy blue low pair of these and loved them so couldnt turn down a retro.

I know there mainly known as Dukes but I remember them more as Uconns nearly the whole squad wore them in 95 inc Ray Allen,Travis Knight,Ricky Moore,DeronSheffer well into the tourney untill they lost to eventual winners UCLA at the Oakland Arena.

They went nice with the navy blue/white early 90s Uconn uniforms.

Great shoe retro or OG just never let a great shoe that u may regret not copping pass u by thats my criteria for wat I buy if im gonna regret not copping themI cop.

Peace
Scottie

As mentioned before, they got the colors all wrong with the retro and the bubble was much smaller. I also think part of what makes these harder to find is thatI only remember a few mom & pop stores and Finishline getting them. I do see them on ebay from time to time...and every now and then an OG pair pops up.They didn't retro the black pair which they should have, and the other 2 retro+ colorways of these were trash.

-less vibrant BLUE +Less vibrant green (heck the color was yellow lol) + a price point of $135 for a non performance shoe, and you don't even have towonder why this one flopped a few years back.. Finishline had them for 50% off, plus you could use another coupon code to get them for around $60 shipped.that's how I received mine, and even then, I still feel they may not even be worth $60 bucks.

It's nikes, close enough approach. yet its about the subtle nature of the colors that can make or break a shoe.

that same year the dt trainer max 96s came out as a retro and those were messed up too color and feature placement.. I mean the complex shape of the shoe wasright. it all fell on the colorways. Hardest part completed with much success yet they fail on the c/w front.

i paid full price for these when they retroed....oops....

I copped the black and white ones at the outlet for cheap. I saw these at an outlet a few months ago but they were a size 14. They were around $50.

I STILL GOT MINE WHEN THEY RETROED WORE THEM ONCE THATS IT I JUST BOUGHT THEM CAUSE I HAD EM BACK IN THE DAY
