Bought it this afternoon. Looks like it sold a few copies, but the store I got it from didn't buy a lot of them...or at least not nearly as many as theydid for 50 and Kanye.
The album Superwoman is a lot better than the acoustic version that's been on the web. The 2 singles and Lesson Learned are Grammy material as well as forSuperwoman. I'm also feeling Tell You Something and The Thing About Love. Through 1 listen, I can't say any other songs jumped out at me (not countingthe Intro, which is as usual for her pretty cool); I even had to skip a couple after a minute or so because it sounded like she was just screaming. But take mymini-review knowing that I only liked about 4-5 songs on her last album. But overall, it's a good album. IMO she shot 6 for 14, which might not seem good, but those songs she hit on for me are better than almost all R&B put out this year. Just like on Diary: although only about a third of the album was goodIMO, the songs that comprised that third were all song of the year candidates. That's pretty much how I feel about this record except about half of it isgood and the songs that make up that half are all high caliber records that most artists would kill just to have one of on their albums.
