There is a device that my friend has that you connect to the ipod then plug into the cigarrette lighter it sends off a signal. Then put your radio on a certainchannel and it plays your ipod.

it's called a FM transmitter. I got the FM Transmitter it's like 50 but they have cheaper ones. The one I got charges your ipod while it plays music inyour car at the same time so you can take a long trip and play music the whole way without worrying about your ipod battery dying. They have cheaper ones thojust go to Best Buy or Wal Mart and you'll find it.

so I can find it at best buy ? I'll rather buy the most expensive one so that I'll get the best quality

Any links? Thanx

FM transmitters are hit and miss. They work off a radio frequency so if you live in a big city like me, reception goes in and out. I had one with my OG Nanoand it was crap, ended up giving it away.

Your Charger should have an AUX jack on the deck (the headphone lookin jack). At least the 300C I drove had one. Just connect it using that wire. For bestsound though, you want something that connects to the dock connector on the bottom and has either the 3.5 mini plug or RCAs on the other end.

yes my car does have that AUX jack So what's needed just a wire? How much is this wire... And how does it work

All you need is that wire - just plug it in on both ends, switch your deck to the AUX input and start playing stuff off your ipod.
Can be found dirt cheap here:

3.5 Mini

So real quick this AUX wire works just as good or better than the fm transmitter? Thanks I appreciate it

MUCH better. It's pretty much the cleanest sound you'll get.
You'll get slightly better sound by using one of THESE withthat wire:

With one of those, you control the volume on your deck (since its a line out signal). With just the wire you control volume on your ipod.

Just buy a new deck.

I just copped a Clarion that has a USB attachment in the glove compartment. Still no new Ipod yet...I break those things religiously.

yeah go with the aux chord since you have the jack.

I have to upgrade my HU get a new one then buy an aux chord run it through the back and then connect mine, still need to buy an ipod....
