AM 90s " Ickis" from Aaahh! Real Monsters Customs

I was thinking of going old school by trying to bring back memories of forgotten cartoons and present them on shoes.
I also wanted a color way that was different and didn't seem already done before.
I'll keep this short hope you enjoy, all feedback is necessary.

nice... what kind of paint did u use?

I used airbrush paint because its easily absorbed by leather but first i had to rub off all the gloss that the shoes came with when nike made them.
I also applied a flexible gloss varnish to the paint and to the whole shoe after i was done with them.
