Are you ******ed? I didn't know he was playing with Nash when he was an All-American and MVP of the Nike Summer League in high school after playing just two years of organized basketball. He also won Rookie of the Year with Marbury as his point guard and was selected to the Olympic team for that summer. Amare's an amazing talent no matter who you put around him

@ Referencing back to HS. Do you know that Amare dunked 99% of his buckets in HS and was usually MUCH bigger than anyone he faced. I can't believed you went back to his HS days.

Dude is correct, we will see how efficient he is when he isn't playing with a world class distributor in Nash-man. I don't see what the argument is.

Nah I'm just saying...dude said "we'll see who the real talent was" like it's possible that Amare has no sort of talent himself and it was all Nash making him an All-NBA power forward. I referenced back then cuz Amare was probably playing with a point guard you never heard of in high school and still was an All-American in his second year of playing high school basketball.

I'm seriously interested in seeing whether or not Amare can be as productive without Nash spoon feeding him.

- seeing? its a known fact Amare cant do it without someone spoon feeding him (research anytime Nash was hurt for an extended period of time).

but if they pull cp or tp its gonna crack in NY

- do you really think thats going to happen?

- personally if i was him i'd have given the Knicks the green light on the condition they sign another PG to help lure in CP or TP. that way if they dont i'd still be able to sign elsewhere.

- the way it is now if they dont pull off another pass first PG their team is still going to suck. thats what makes that whole picture above hilarious. i mean, these cats are basically celebrating mediocrity. Amare alone doesnt promise anything.......hell, it doesnt even promise making the playoffs. but hey everyone stand together for a group picture

someone brought up a good point, trading DLee for monta may be a good look for the knicks. ellis and stoudemire would be a good match imo.

That isn't what I got from his statement. He was simply saying that Nash made Amare's life easier and we will see how he will adjust when he isn't playing with one of the best that ever did it. Simple as that.

Ya'll think Raymond Felton can run the D'Antoni offense? Seeing how Deron and Chris left dude in the dust he's kinda been forgotten.
