Hands down my FAVORITE And 1 shoe, and a top 5 non-Nike shoe at that. I remember mad heads rocking different colors back in the day, and NBA players wore crazycolor combos of them that had me .

Seeing how And 1 has basically fallen off the earth now, I wanna take a step back and remember the better days of the brand.

Hopefully some NT'ers can come thru with collection pics or recollections of their own as well (Hoyle where you at?!)

^ Interesting....cause it was AFTER those shoes that they had 7 All-Stars in 2002 and 20% of the league wearing their shoes.

And1 has done A LOT of good over the years...it's just that the past 2-3 years of limited edition sneakers and vulc. shoes ultimately was the deathblow...along w/ an inept parent company that felt it didn't need to invest in big name players, advertise, or remain title sponsors of the Mix TapeTour...as they sold it to a 3rd party.

And 1s were the %!% back in teh day. I had a pair of Nasty Corssovers and they were simply amazing. Tai Chis were dope though too. And 1 from 00-03 wasdefinitely appreciated

what was the deal with these?

the use of colour blocking on these (the black on the midsole and around the eyelets) always had me thinking these were a slightly different version.

i always thought the cut was slightly different as well.

ive been working with the scandinavian HQ of And1 since i was 14, im 21 right now, so ive seen ALOT of different And1, especially samples, some real hot thatthey never released, but the Tai Chi is my absolute favorite shoes.
