Actually, I do know why these threads die so quickly
Ignorance usually leading to one of two replies: "Go get help" or "Mental disorders aren't real"

One could make the case for both of those notions being great advice... if you were to elaborate!
But those responses, without explanation, are dismissive.
Most of the times, people want to talk it out, have a conversation. That's allllll
