apple store shouldnt have a problem locating the owners since I believe they can track who cloud locked it via imei. Not sure but dont see this being an issue if you just dropped it off there.

i’ve been on it since it started. it’s a zero interest loan so there’s really no downside other than apple care is mandatory (if you didn’t want to get it). best thing is it doesn’t affect you contract or lack of with your carrier
