Are the Warriors are the best team ever not to make the playoffs?

The Warriors may go on to win 50 games if they beat the Suns and the Sonics. Im not sure but they may be the only team to win 50 games an not make theplayoffs. Seeing how they were in eight the entire year, until this last stretch, does this make them the best team to not make the playoffs?
