Athletes who are known for being owned by another athlete

Hakeem absolutely obliterating David Robinson's Soul is hands down theee canidate for this lik Ska said...

I still don't think people understand exactly how he dominated him at every aspect of the game. Then when you add in that they had just presented David with the League MVP at the start of the series... It doesn't get too much worst than this

That's not exactly "destroying Shuttlesworth almost every time they match up."

Is it really hard for you to comprehend that not everyone is a stan? and stats don't tell the whole story guy. Stats won't show how he sonned Ray on that block that was posted earlier. it will just say that was a block but the level of disrespect can't be measured. Stats won't show how he destroyed Dwight on that dunk I posted earlier. It will just show two points. Same with Lebron's dunk the other night. Stats will just show 2 points.

I'm trying to clarify what "owns" means. So go sit down unless you can clarify.

You were wrong about Kobe destroying Ray almost every time they match up, so you bring up the "level of disrespect" of a block in the preseason? Okay.

When you say Ray Allen, the first thought in most NBA fans minds isn't "getting worked by Kobe"

It's about athletes who are KNOWN FOR getting owned by another athlete. The all-time 3-point leader isn't known for getting owned by Kobe Bryant.

The title of the thread is Athletes known for being owned by another Athlete. That is why people are dropping names like Craig Ehlo because he is known for being owned by Jordan throughout his career. That is what people associate Ehlo with, being Jordan's @#+*#. Ray Allen's entire career is not defined by being "owned by Kobe" (according to you). Ray Allen has had a Hall of Fame career in which he became the all time leading three point shooter. That is what people will know him for not for a preseason block by Kobe at the arrowhead pond in Anaheim. You posted a video of Kobe dunking on Dwight Howard and it was a great play you are saying Kobe owned him on that play. However Dwight Howard is not known for being owned by Kobe Bryant his entire career. Do you see the difference?

JD617 So are you saying Kobe doesn't go to work almost everytime they meet up? Seriously? With Epox12's explanation of the thread I can say Kobe doesn't own Ray Allen but to say Kobe doesn't go to work on ray would be ridiculous. Watch the games, everytime Ray is on Kobe, he goes to work! During that stretch in the finals where Kobe went nuts in the 3rd quarter(the year the C's won) was on mostly Ray Allen.

I don't care if that was preseason or not that block was nasty.

I also have plenty of examples of this

But you guys are right, Ray Allen is not known for being owned by Kobe but to say Kobe doesn't destroy Ray Allen whenever it's 1 on 1 is ridiculous.

I also have plenty of examples of this

But you guys are right, Ray Allen is not known for being owned by Kobe but to say Kobe doesn't destroy Ray Allen whenever it's 1 on 1 is ridiculous.
Yeah but Kobe destroys A LOT of dudes one on one. That is why he is the Mamba.

That's what I'm saying though why is homie denying that he destroys Ray Allen?

Thanks for the clarification homie.

Stats won't show how he destroyed Dwight on that dunk I posted earlier. It will just show two points. Same with Lebron's dunk the other night. Stats will just show 2 points.

I'm trying to clarify what "owns" means. So go sit down unless you can clarify.

The title of the thread is Athletes known for being owned by another Athlete. That is why people are dropping names like Craig Ehlo because he is known for being owned by Jordan throughout his career. That is what people associate Ehlo with, being Jordan's %#*!*.

Thanks for the clarification.

JD617 So are you saying Kobe doesn't go to work almost everytime they meet up? Seriously?
I thought I just explained this, he doesn't do work against Ray any more than he does versus anyone else. In games against Ray, he's under his career scoring average and under his career FG%, which is why I don't understand why you brought Ray into this to begin with. Did you just look at a list of NBA players and brainlessly pick one that sounded good?

Every time I see Royal Ivey when I'm watching Thunder games, I just remember Warrick teabagging him. Ivey sucks and never plays, so the chance he does something significant to give me a new memory to associate with him is very low

Man, they just did this Top 10 on ESPN right now about top posterizations throughout the years (Pippen on Ewing, Diddy on AK47, Chambers on… whoever the hell that was).

Well one of them was Vince on Mourning, and that immediately reminded me of this thread. Isn't there a clip on youtube just dedicated to Vince frequently baptizing Alonzo?
