I hate when these "analysts" speak on the ills of the Black community and blame everything on hip-hop artists
It's a matter of free speech, rapperscan say what they want, whatever

Because you can't be labeled a racist when it's the damn truth. In regards to the black community and single parent homes.
Because you can't be labeled a racist when it's the damn truth
Did you even hear the song in it's entirety or did you just go off of what O'Reilly played for you on TV?? They should have played the beginning ofJay's lyrics, that would have cleared up alot of this confusion.....................
"my president is black, matter fact he's half white
so even to a racist, he's only half right"
Expect individuals like this one and many others to come out the woodwork in the next few days trying to be critical of blacks and the black community, mostlydue to their anger with Obama being President. We now know that many of these individuals let their thoughts manifest in some of the Hannity Forums and thenthey post these same ignorant thoughts here on NT, SMH.

jeezy was wrong wit the shoes thing but nobody likes bush and he honestly doesnt deserve any respect (no matter the title... dude could b the damn pope) after how he %+$*+@ us over...
a white lie means a small lie... thats just jay using wordplay... it just so happen to fit...
its funny with subjects like this u can just flat out tell who's white and black...
1. I just personally disagree. To me, the President is always deserving of some respect, no matter your opinions of him. I'm not a big fan of the guyeither, but he was the President.
2. Ah, I see. Didn't catch that...don't really listen to rap too much
im going to make this short and easy.Originally Posted by Kobefan23

That said, I don't disagree with O'Reilly's stance on this one. PRAISING the person who threw shoes at Bush? He was the President of the US and no matter how much you disagree with him, he deserves respect for his title. Second, "white lies"...because of course any "lies" by the Bush administration automatically becomes "white" lies. If these rappers/people are so excited about Obama bringing people together/the country being unified (which I agree with), there's no point to this.
Ok, since you obviously can't put 2 and 2 together, how about I give you a different example. If a country music star had came out with asong talking #*** on Obama just as Ludacris did a few months ago on McCain, it would be labeled as racist and people would be calling for his head. Does thatmake sense to you now?Originally Posted by iHateTimeDotCom
first off... that analogy makes no sense... theres only 1 former president... that doesnt change no matter who won the election... they're not dissin mccain... they're dissin bush... bush was wack no matter what color u are... i kno plenty of white folks who hate bush... so u can flush that hypocrite !!%% right along wit ur flawed logic...Originally Posted by swizzc
Can you imagine if this were 2 white people singing a song like this about Obama if McCain had won? People would be calling for their heads. Hypocrites.
