Anyone own Andis Master clippers? Looking to cop some new ones but am i tripping or do they not come with guards? Is that the flex they running? Pay extra for the guards? Might go with Oster...

Well the master is adjustable to a point so depending on use some don't need the guards. The guards are quality though (purple joints), never had to replace one in the over 10 years since i've bought them.

I see 2 diff color guards, the purple like you mentioned and what looks navy or black (hard to tell from pics). Whats the difference? The purple ones are a bit more expensive.
