Hey, didn't see a similar thread but thought I would post some amazing buzzer beaters that I remember when and where I was for some reason. These don't have to really be particularily amazing or anything. The prupose of this thread is to really have people share where they were and maybe why the particular ones stand out. Lets have some fun with it! Doesn't have to be literally at the buzzer either, lets be loose with the defenition.

First up is one that holds a particular place in my heart because I was there. I still remember my dad making us walk to the exits early so I had to watch on the televisions in the arena as we walked out:angry: he would be dead 4 months later |l

Next was a Sean Elliott Buzzer beater, was watching with my pops and we made a bet about who would win this game, he was talking mess about it's over blah blah blah. Still remember the look on his face

Last one was Derek Fishers infamous shot, I was a big Kobe guy and I thought it was over after Duncan hit that shot I still remember jumping up and down going crazy!

Crazy to think how long it's been with most of these, and how quickly time flies and the memories that are attached to my pops. Makes me appreciate having him in my life and the fact that he is still here for me to tell him so. Share your most memorable buzzer beaters!

There was a great buzzer beater where I think it was Duke Women's basketball won a game and the announcer was like "She takes the shotttt................. " (it goes in) "...................... they wiiiiiin!"

It was a female announcer and I'll never forget the sound of her voice, but I haven't been able to find that damn video since. I watched it on Sportscenter originally

It was somewhere between 2003-2010. Maybe i'll look again today for a close score from those years. Don't remember who they were playing but I feel like mayyyybe stanford or something, or some team with red uniforms but that's fuzzy as hell.

1/2 of the vid doesn’t apply here, even loosening the definition by a lot lol

Of that 1/2, about 1/2 are that dirty sucker from Atlanta. Man has the greenest light so no conscience whatsoever.

Halibut got that short bus form to his shot that Indy seems to have an affinity towards.

Chris Paul traveled.

2003 - 2010 is a wide range.

Yeah it's gonna take me some time to find the game, then try to find a video :emoji_sweat_smile:

I'm like 75% sure it's this Duke Women's buzzer beater vs UCONN, but I cannot find the video. Someone posted it on Reddit but it was removed from streamable.

Duke Stuns Top-Ranked UConn as Foley Caps 20-Point Rally With Winning Three at the Buzzer

HARTFORD, Conn. - This time, Duke came all the way back.

Behind Alana Beard's 20 second-half points, No. 4 Duke rallied to beat top-ranked Connecticut 68-67 Saturday - snapping a home winning streak of 69 games and preventing the Huskies from setting an NCAA record.

Tennessee dealt UConn's its last home loss, 72-71 on Feb. 2, 2000.

"We got outplayed for basically the first 35 minutes of the game," Duke coach Gail Goestenkors said. "Coming back against a great team like Connecticut is something very difficult to do."

Jessica Foley's 3-pointer at the buzzer was the game-winner and capped an 18-3 rally over the final four minutes. The Huskies (9-1) led by as many as 20 points in the first half, but wilted under Duke's full-court pressure, turning the ball over repeatedly in the closing minutes. Duke outscored UConn 52-30 in the second half.

The game was nearly similar to last year's UConn's 77-65 win over Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium. In that game, the Blue Devils (10-1) outscored UConn 30-11 in the second half but fell short. Goestenkors' squad wasn't about to let it happen again.

"Last year, they were just happy to make a comeback," she said. "This year, that wasn't the case."

Foley was mobbed by her teammates as she lay on the floor after the shot, and the sellout crowd of 16,294 stood stunned.

"This is just amazing," Foley said. "I don't think I'll ever have a shot like that again in my career. I didn't even feel like I was in my body. It's the sort of thing you dream about."

Down by 14 points in the final four minutes, the Blue Devils put on a furious press and turned UConn over seven times down the stretch, outscoring the Huskies 18-3 the rest of the way.

 Wonder what it is about that clip that made it get sniped.

I know that was eating you up.
