you don't have to pay to play
elite is going to be a website and phone app where you can manage your classes, you can make special lobbies, get into clans...bla bla bla...elite also has early dlc there are already said to be 9 made 1 per month (not all maps), if you have elite you and your clan can rock the gold clan tag
