Chi Town July 4th Weekend Ideas?

Going to Chi Town Thursday July 1st till Monday July 5th for a convention at rosemont convention center. need some help from you guys

*places to eat?
*places to shop?
*any concerts, comedy shows or shows going on that weekend?
*things around that convention center to check out?
*land marks, parks? amusement parks?
*fireworks show?

guys if yall could help me that would be great! thanks.

oh and any Muslims know of the nicest mosque in chi town? thanks again.

You're going to ISNA? Tight. Who're you going with? See the Jordan statue and actually go to some lectures.

I might hit up the bazaar

Go to Michigan ave if you want to shop
 Mucvico theaters thats about the only thing around the convention center
Only amusment park is Great America but that is far from the convention area
If you go to the taste of Chicago you will catch the firework show

dont go anywhere with loud fireworks, watch what colors you wear around certain sides of towns, dont throw hand signs

The Taste of Chicago is a must

There is a free concert at Millennium Park on July 5th, the Thermals and Nice Nice are playing.

You should check out the regional forums, there's a bunch of good information there.
