Why not just tank for the year and get back in the lottery in a nice draft year?
How often does tanking work honestly, I'll give a few examples The Baby Bulls Era and the Clippers from the early 2000s none of those situations panned out, your basically relying on pontential and good drafting which this FO hasn't done the last couple years, we all know that.
I'm seriously shocked that they pulled this move off. Last Friday when free agency started I was reading that the Bulls were talking to Rondo and Wade but I had no inclination that they would be all the Bulls a week later.
Both deals are favorable Wade 2 years with a player option and Rondo 2 years with mutual option I'm not mad. We got Dunleavy off the roster which was essential I still want Snell gone but it's ok for now.
Don't forget we potentially could get the Kings pick if it falls out the Top ten. One of the reasons why I thought this would never happen is because of the spacing would be awful and probably will but the FO was like the hell with it.
Look anything is possible in the new NBA the Bulls could land one of the big names in 2017 you never know. If you read the article we would have 65 million in cap space if we didn't pick up Rondo's option but with the Wade signing it reduces to about 40 mill we will have room for one max guy.
I think this should be the starting because of spacing
Rondo
Wade
Butler
Niko
Lopez
Bench:
Grant
Valentine
Dougie
Portis
Gibson
Snell
Felcio
They should be competitive at-least
