Cake you should have posted a picture of Derrick Rose in a Bulls uniform, that would have hurt more.

Prediction- St. John's wins 5 conference games.

I started to, but I figured the posterization of thee most beloved Knick, minus Willis and Benard as a reminder of all of those squandered yrs plus a look atwhat has a damn good chance to be another squandered draft would register more as the devasting reality that is being a fan of the New York Knickerboxer

craftsy don't even really be in here, although that's a plus ...

he saves all his stats and numbers for game threads ...

Gettin thrown under the bus, being in and out of the dog house is not something I'd wana deal with.
That's called developing mental and intestinal fortitude. If you can get through it, you'll be a better pro.

..but I'm not seeing any big time player Pitino has developed yet..

Garcia if you wana count him, and soon to be Earl Clark..

I think a kid like Sosa would be in a better spot now if he wasn't lookin over his shoulder every game and playin to not make mistakes.

Does Pitino not get credit for developing guys like Jamal Mashburn, Tony Delk, Antoine Walker, Walter McCarty, Derek Anderson, Ron Mercer, Nazr Mohammed, etc?

Granted, he hasn't really put any good players into the league since he's been at Louisville, but I think that has a lot to do with kids' attitudesthese days and how sensitive most of 'em are. This generation has so many kids that can't do wrong in their parents' eyes (which often leads tobabying and other stuff along those lines), so when they finally encounter someone that's a little tough on 'em, they don't know how to react andget scared.

with the exception of McCarty and Nazr....those other guys were already really, really good players.

but Pitino pretty much put Mcarty in the league, as well as Nazr (with Tubby's help too.)

but since he's been at Louisville, he's only got one player in the league in Garcia.

I always thought that Tubby was one of, if not thee, best coach in the country at developing marginal players into very good, contributing players.

Be ready for this first..

Siena announced Friday that its game against Pittsburgh at the Petersen Events Center has been moved to December 17 and will be played at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN2.

I hit up the UCLA gym yesterday because Abdul Gaddy was on a visit there, and he was running in the pickup games amidst the other college/nba players.

First time I actually got to see him in person, but man is his game smooth. He wasn't being very aggressive out there, but when he got his hands on theball, I dont know how he does it but he can just chill with the ball in his hands not even having to put on some flashy %#+ moves, and still get the work done.Showed some good bounce on an ally oop and hit most of his 3s throughout the day, but he did look a slight bit timid. But, he is a full 2 years+ younger thananybody out there and when he did go balls out he performed pretty well, stayed under control.

I was most impressed by Malcolm Lee though, once he gets under control, he'll be unstoppable. His list of pull up jumper moves is unlimited and quick ashell, and he can get up quite high when he takes it to the hole. Very good defender, too, made it tough for Arron Afflalo to get anything out there.

Earl Watson...did not have such a good day.

But alas, they were pickup games.
