not quite sure if this counts, but i cant stand when people say that there is no physical contact in basketball or soccer, sure there is a lot of flopping inbball and diving in soccer, but to say they arent physical, is ridiculous to me

1. That a team shouldn't abandon the run even when it's constantly getting stuffed and your team is falling behind.
Do the so called football "experts" not realize the D isn't letting up and that running keeps the clock moving resulting in fewer possessionswhich means less opportunities to make a comeback.
2. Defense wins championships. (in football only)
I don't think it applies much at all anymore. Far too often we see the so-called great defenses get lit up by great offenses (ie. everytime the Colts haveplayed the Ravens the last couple seasons). Defense can give you more possessions but offense puts the points on the scoreboard more often than not.
3. that teammates don't like certain controversial players (ie. TO)
Just cuz the ESPN staff has something against the guy personally doesn't mean the same 50 plus players who practice and play with him everyday feel thesame way.
