Customs - Adding speckles to kicks - Which paint?

Hi,

I wanna mess around with customising some of my old kicks. Looking at starting with something easy like speckles.

Just wondering what would be the right paint for speckles? Something like acrylic?

I like the consistency/adhesion of Angelus for speckles.

as mentioned above, its not the type of paint, but really the viscosity/method you are using to apply the speckles

i would get a brush with good "spring" and dip it into paint, use your fingers to remove excess or else you will get large dots. and basically pull back on the brush and fling it. easy as that, the tricky part is getting an equal dispersion of paint, take your time, i would suggest flicking away form the shoe or else you get directional splatters. you dont want that

also test on a sheet of paper till your brush gets the right ammount of paint. i would use angelus only for sneakers. but if you are painting a synthetic material like a lebron/foamposite, PM me for the right paint to use,
