Fair point.  Shaq was a major major weapon.
Now where's getting somewhere.  This is exactly what I wanted alot of folks in here to see and understand.  Sure Kobe was a good maybe even a great player at times back with Shaq but Shaq was the main go to guy and threat, plain and simple.

Would now be a good time to mention how the Lakers would have to completely go away from Shaq in the 4th quarters now?

I never said he or they SHOULD be looked over.  Just saying that when you put things into perspective for a guy that a good majority of you Kobe lovers are hyping up to be the greatest or 2nd greatest of all-time for the 5 championships he has, he wasn't even for the first or best option for more than HALF of his championships.  Just like for the 5 championships he has, he wasn't even the Finals MVP for more than HALF of the championships.  I mean there's something to be said about that, not trying to discredit the guy but facts is facts.

Everybody here who says Kobe isnt close to Jordan should slap themselves. Dude has CONSISTENTLY been the best player every year. What player you know has an broken finger, messed up knee and back and played pretty much every game last year? Lebron pansy *** had to sit out games because his elbow hurt.
