just left Galaxy's Edge. It was pretty awesome! we went straight to the cantina and made the cut off for reservations. then walked around for a while trying the blue and green milks, ribs and chicken at Dock Bay 7. The Cantina was really cool and the snacks and drinks were good. I would have been cool to see some characters in the cantina mixing in with the crowd. Rode smugglers run twice and got pilot both times. i rocked it, my lady not so much

Dope man, just watched.

My wife and I were just talking about the Disneyland itch. Can’t wait to get back.

Disneyland Releases Additional Information on Virtual Queue System for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Reservations Required for Savi’s Workshop and Oga’s Cantina Starting June 24th

Disneyland has just released further information the virtual queue system that will be employed once Batuu opens up to all travelers beginning June 24! It appears reservations will be required, however, for Savi’s Workshop and Oga’s Cantina.

Boarding Groups
For guests wishing to live out Star Wars adventures and access Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge beginning June 24, Disneyland Resort may utilize a virtual queuing system, as needed, to help everyone have a great experience. Download the Disneyland app before arriving and check the app or signage the day of your visit to find out if you will need to be part of a boarding group to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge that day. The boarding group will save you a virtual spot in line so you can enjoy other experiences while you wait to be notified of a time to enter.

You may use the Disneyland app to request to be part of a boarding group after entering Disneyland park, if implemented that day. Simply link the theme park tickets of everyone in your party together on the app to request the same boarding group for your entire party. To see which boarding group is currently being admitted to the land, look on the app or digital signage in the park.

If you enable push notifications on your mobile device, you will be notified when it is time to enter the land. If not, continue to check the Disneyland app or digital signage in the park, and enjoy other experiences, while awaiting your boarding group. You have up to two hours to enter the land after your boarding group is called for admission.

For guests not using the Disneyland app, a boarding group may be obtained with a park admission ticket at select Disney FASTPASS Service locations such as Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones Adventure, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain or near the Matterhorn Bobsleds.

Reservations for Savi’s Workshop and Oga’s Cantina
Beginning June 24, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will no longer require a reservation to access the land, although reservations will be required for Savi’s Workshop and Oga’s Cantina, which have very limited capacities. Guests wishing to book a reservation for these experiences may do so on the same day of their visit, beginning at 7 a.m., with a valid credit card. Reservations for both experiences will allow access into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the time of the reservation, so it will not be necessary to join a boarding group, if applicable, to enter the land to participate in a reserved experience.

Oga’s Cantina Reservation Information:

Reservations
The Oga’s Cantina experience is subject to availability and reservations are required. Space is limited. Separate theme park admission is also required.

At least one person in the party must be 14 years of age or older.

Be prepared to present your reservation confirmation email, photo ID and the credit card provided at the time of booking the reservation.

BREAKING: Disneyland Buckles to Public Pressure and Will Remove Shop from Main Street Cinema

Last Friday, we came to you with the harrowing news that the Main Street Cinema at Disneyland had been turned into… a store. Well, now it appears the pop-up shop won’t even last a week, thanks to resounding guest backlash across both coasts.

In a recent piece by Theme Park Insider, plans to remove the shop have been unveiled as the shop’s merchandise will be removed overnight, and an additional bench installed due to guest feedback.

Thankfully, the pop-up shop rendered no permanent changes to the space, and once all the merchandise is removed tonight, we hope the cinema will return to its former quaint (and quiet) glory.

Further testing is still in the works for this treasured alcove, so it’ll be interesting, yet somewhat nerve-racking, to see what could potentially come next. Whatever happens, we hope fans and guests alike will be just as vocal about any changes they feel tarnish historical elements and guest experience within the park.

I always get iffy on those knee jerk reaction decisions...If anything it’s out more eyes on the attraction...Silver lining I suppose...
