Dress code for Vegas clubs

I'm headin' to Vegas in a few months for a bachelor party with a bunch of hot-shot lawyers.

I'm a t-shirt and jeans guy, but they're talking about getting roped-off tables at the VooDoo Lounge, Rain, blah blah blah, which means that my normal attire won't work.

So, here's the question:

I was told by a few people that have been there before that NO jeans are allowed inside the clubs, but I've been reading online that if you're wearing a collared shirt or a blazer, that you can get away with wearing jeans, so long as they're not baggy, ripped, etc.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Any help is much appreciated, and thanks in advance.

i never had a problem getting in with a button up collared shirt, Jeans, and somewhat nice shoes(not basketball shoes), but a pair of decent pants couldnt hurt your cause.
