Eggplant foams question

I just bought and received my eggplant foams, I’m new to the sneaker game and getting into it. My question is, after inspecting the sneakers I noticed a lot of glue in spots on And around the carbon fiber.. is that a defect or fakes.. I paid 230.00 for sneakers and I’m pissed lol

These eggplant foams are still sitting in stores I think, so it shouldn't have been too hard to buy from a reputable seller.

When I picked up coppers at FTL they had to bring out 4 pairs before I found an acceptable one. I found glue stains on the top line and tongue in that scenario ... soles and midsoles are going to get dirty anyways, that wouldn’t bother me personally but at the prices these are still going for it makes you think twice I guess.
