I guess this is their response to ppl protesting SOPA.

Meh to filesonic, I went there only when I was in search of one of those hard to find obscure albums or movies. Always was like the 5th or 6th option. The more they take these down, the more new ones pop up. Hukshare wasn't popular until like 2 years ago.

alot of the webservers like i believe piratebay etc will still be around because of being foriegn based thus us rules/laws arent applicable to them

Just as I said earlier in this thread, if Mediafire and Hulkshare are still online, nothing else matters.

The Nostalgia. You had to learn to code just get at that new Naruto. The downloads were crazy fast too.

This is how I feel... but I don't really download movies like that & my music collection that I've built the past 6 years or so I only add to it on new releases now.

Filesonic was great. The payout for uploading files was probably the best around on the net. My cinema collection can be attributed to all the great work Filesonic has done

Another company will just take the place of Filesonic, it's a never ending cycle I hope.
