Foamposites for basketball?

Someone informed me that I'd have better luck posting this in this section instead of the general Nike section so here we go..

I have a pair of Fighter jet foamposites and I was wondering if they'd be good to play basketball in.. I usually wear them to walk outside but take fairly good care of them and have seen a few NBA players play in foamposites. (Rajon Rondo, Demar DeRozan, etc) I've previously tried playing in my foamposites but they don't have much grip for some reason, It's sometimes hard to stop and I sometimes find myself slipping. Do you think using the product "Court Grip" by mission on my foamposite's soles to try to gain grip would ruin the sole? What can I do to gain lots on grip on my foamposite's sole and prevent the shoes from making me slip or slide?

You might be playing on a dirty court, or the soles of your shoes might need a good wiping down. Foamposites have pretty decent traction, from my experience. However, they're a little too heavy to play in for extended periods of time, if you ask me.

What's good to clean them with?
