Haven’t grabbed anything from them in a while and got a craving. Not rated the best but I like their food. The dish I ordered tonight is usually grubbin but I swear to god it tasted reheated. Might have lost their quality or I got them on an off night.

whoa too far out....but that looks good! Gotta look for a new hole in the wall asian spot. I miss Joy Luck.
 
Ingredients:
Olive oil
Boneless chicken thighs
Egg noodles (I get the broad ones)
Onion
Carrots
Celery
Frozen peas
Chicken/beef stock
Basil
Oregano
Any seasoning you want for your chicken
(I used salt, pepper, garlic powder and thyme)


-Start by cooking the chicken in a pan, I brown the chicken further than I normally would
-while the chicken is cooking, use a large pot to cook the onion, carrot, celery mix in oil or butter
-when your mix is cooked to your liking, add beef and chicken stock
-bring to boil then add noodles
-just as the noodles are about done add peas or any other frozen veggie mix
-chop the chicken to add to the soup


*i like to season the veggies as they cook and I add butter to the soup just as it’s finishing up

id take thighs over anything
I think we had this talk before, but it depends on the context.

Grilled/Stewed/Baked = Thighs

Grilled/Baked = Legs

Fried = Breast/Wings.

Can't mess with fried dark meat, due to the meat not being cooked long enough to make it non-slimy.

They sell very popular foods so you're pretty much buying the name and paying for fast shipping
 
"Greasy"/"Fatty" is probably a better word to describe dark meat.
Maybe that is how you want to describe it.

But even if we used your way to wprd it, greasiness + fattiness = Slimy texture .

So yea, I hate the sliminess.

When baking or grilling, i can cook it long enough to reduce that nasty texture.

Betty’s Pie has a 3.5 stars on yelp. Can’t be that good but I am curious
