For 2,000 ....for a first car ......what rides would u buy?

Basically any Toyota or Honda. I looked online and around my way I found a 1999 Camry for 1800.

That's my down payment for financing. Really though, I wouldn't trust a car for under 4K or so. More often than not, anyone I know who got thehookup has ended up spending more fixing than buying.

it depends on what your into.


you can find a goooood slab for that much id go with a box or a round body caprice they always have low miles and chevys are real easy to work
on and play with.

What do you need out of a car?

Get a car you can work on your self. It seems like you don't have money to spend so a car that you can preform regular maintenance on (Brakes, oil, airfilter, ect..) will help keep future repair bills down. I recommend a 90's honda or toyota.

That's what I'm going to aim for when I pick up my first car pretty soon.
