I've been to AC before but it's been a while back. Don't really know what to expect so I'm looking for some recommendations from the brah's that have been there recently.

- going this weekend
- staying at ceasars
- catching the jim bruer stand-up at the borgata

just toss me any info....buffets, eats, gamble spots, clubs, strip clubs....whatevs I'm open ears.

I'm in AC almost every week. For a younger drunk crowd go to Harrah's and their pool party. For a nice hotel go to Revel I hear their club is dope too, I have never been. I wouldn't advise gambling there because the floor is empty and if you play table games you'll be playing by yourself. Showboat has a nice buffet if you like seafood, oysters, shrimps, crabs etc. Caesars is more of an older crowd

advice, on point.

Have you guys ever messed with house of blues? I heard it was good.

As far as clubs, I heard the one in the borgata is good...anyone vouch for it?

And I'll be going in around mid-day and I really not trying to lose money on gambling....just play blackjack for fun and then i'm done...I'm really going their for the comedy show, food, and a club and/or stripclub at night.

What do you guys recommend I do during the day besides gambling?

Only been at the HOB for a concert. The bar is pretty decent at the HOB downstairs but there are wayyyy better places to grab drinks like the Irish Pub on St. Charles (http://www.theirishpub.com/). that place is open 24/7 and can get wild at any point of the day.

You say your looking for things to do mid-day? as messed up as this sounds, why dont you take a walk around the surrounding areas and see how bad Sandy hit them, its pretty bad but it will make you appreciate everything that you have.

Sorry for the bump, but I just stayed at the Revel this past weekend. One of the nicest hotels I've ever been to.

They got a DJ spinning on the casino floor....pretty much sums up the atmosphere there.

Nah...had some other stuff going on that night.

I heard good things about it, tho. Did the pool party earlier in the day and had a great time.

Don't go to Revel if your main focus is gambling. This is NOT the hotel for it. Revel is all about partying.

Revel sucks its an entertainment hot spot not a casino. I was there the 1st day it opened. Sure it looks good but i wouldnt stay there or gamble there. Concert or show sure.

Ill be at harrahs this weekend. Eating dinner at bobby flays :pimp:

- You could easily kill a weekend at Revel alone and enjoy the hell out of it.  Throw in some Borgata (shows / restaurants / spa's / great ocean views / pool / clubs / casino / etc); food from the insanely delicious, slightly inland, eateries (under-rated); hit up the amusement park piers; do some high-end shopping with your casino winnings; chill on the beach for a bit; walk the boardwalk and everything that goes along with that; catch the Boardwalk Hall light show (awesome) and if your lucky, catch the Atlantic City Air show!   Then hop on the A.C. Xpress to illadelph!

Going with some friends in August. ages 21 - 25. Just going for 4 days. But not 100% sure yet. Do yall think its a fun place to go? We tryna party and have fun wit bishes. Chill, sip, burn, party, have fun.

Its not my idea im just going to go. I was invited so said might as well.

WhiteHouse subs is definitely a must. There is one in one of the hotels on the boardwalk. Look it up. I forget which one. Not far from Revel.

Revel and the Borgata is it. I can't **** with most of the other spots.

Yes, MurMur at the Borgata is a good club.

Me and my crew (male/female) hit the pools/beach during the day. Me and my dogs walked the boardwalk and wound up on some Go Karts at Central Pier while we were :smokin and that **** was a blast.

We got kicked out for turning them into bumper cars but it was fun while it lasted.

There's a small amusement park at Steel Pier. You'll see it if you're on the Boardwalk. Dunno if it's any good. Worth a look.
