Going to vegas for the first time.......questions

Me and some of my friends are going to vegas for the first time this halloween. My questions are should we get a hotel on the strip, if so what side? Also whatcan i expect in vegas during this halloween weekend?

Bally's, Flamingo, Caesar Palace, and Harrah's are in the middle of the strip. Usually when I go to Vegas, i stay at either of thosehotels and they have O.K. rates.

Just a nice decent hotel to stay in. Im rarely going to be in the hotel.

Get a good hotel on the strip if possible. Be careful picking up ladies because them might ask "where the cast at" word to lil wayne.

if you want a good location but, don't really care about how nice the hotel is then stay at Imperial Palace cause it is super cheap

Last time I went to Vegas (in March) we stayed at Planet Hollywood. No complaints there. I also really liked the casino over there better. Had more of ayounger crowd/feel (Im 22 btw).

Imperial Palace is mad shady.

Always people outside looking like they're about to stick you up.

I've stayed at the Venetian and Treasure Island, and enjoyed both. The Venetian is super classy, but mad confusing to navigate when under the influence.

DEFINITELY bring girls, and get them on guest lists for clubs. It's gonna be hard to get in with all dudes unless you get bottle service. If you'regoing with a group guys, it's good to split up and ask girls if you can go in with their group in exchange for buying them a drink (which is gonna be like$12-15).

TAO Beach is one of the crackingest places ever during the day. It was like heaven. XS is ill. Tryst is ill. TAO is crackin'. I like electro music, so Moonin the Palms is one of my favorites.

Halloween might cost a little more I would think. Plus it's on a Saturday this weekend so staying on the strip will be pricey imo.

I actually leave for Vegas on Tuesday. Staying at the Bellagio. I am HYPED! (not my first time.)

Yo Co-Sign...I was there 2 weeks ago..went to Tao on friday..then went to XS on Fri..and fell in love and me and my crew went back on Sat..maddsick..but they do play alot of house music...oh yeah OP..stay at the Venitian.

The MGM is has a really nice pool. Regardless of where you stay, if it has a good pool you're money. While at the pool talk to as many girls as possible.Get a water polo game goin, walk around and chat, just do whatever to talk to girls. Tell them all that you're goin to a certain club and that you shouldgo together to get in easier. Seriously if it is a club with a giant effing line, they let in groups of huge amounts of women first. It's the best way toget into a club and it's one of the best ways to interact with females that aren't prostitutes.

Anyways, if you're just getting a regular room, it's hard to beat the Venetian/Palazzo. The regular rooms at places like Caesers Palace, MGM, etc arehonestly like a notch above a Best Western room. They're disgusting. A lot of people say you never spend any time in your room, but they only say thatbecause their rooms are the size of a normal person's bathroom. When you have a suite like this, you're going to be spending a fair amount of timethere:

Regarding the strip, it's a human cesspool and I never understood the appeal of it. Vegas is in such a state of ruin right now with all the haltedconstruction and everything. When I was in Vegas for the UFC/New Years, I don't think I left the MGM for like 3 or 4 days. To be honest, I don't seethe point of going there unless you have the full VIP treatment.
