Good deal on Paranorman Foamposites?

My local thrift store came across a pair of paranorman Foamposites, and they clearly googled their value because they priced the shoes at 1000$. I know these go for much more, but 1000$ is still a considerable amount. No box included, but they're in good shape, hardly worn. I forgot to take pics but I can get some no problem. Thoughts?
