Sup NT. Basically, I live in NYC and the main way of transportation everyday is using the MTA which means having a metrocard. My friend gave me his student metro card to use, and I was stopped back in December and given two summons with a court date in May. About last week, I got stopped again and was given a ticket with a $100 fine for the same thing. Before these two incidents, I have never been in any trouble and had a clean record. Since I have no idea how this works, do I just pay the 100$ ticket now, and wait till the court date of the two summons to see what happens then? Or do I have any other options? Thanks
In addition, will any of this have a lasting impact on my record, or once everything gets paid I won't have to worry about anything?
