Specifically TSA.

What are the pros and cons? How's the benefits? How easy is it to move around in this field? Opportunity in advancing and/or promotions.

My brother worked for Homeland Security. He got promoted to some intelligence stuff a few months ago.

Sounds like a great job. If I can't get another job after college, I'll be going that route.

TSA is a good start for moving on to Police Department Work / US Customs Officer / Border Patrol / Federal Air Marshalls and etc.

It's just like any other job, brown nosers get farther and hard workers get over looked. If you do decide to get employed work hard and keep
your nose clean. I definitely don't see it as a career unless you plan on moving up on the company which may take years...assuming they DONT
fire you for something stupid. Can't get into too much detail but its not that bad of a job. But IMO, working for a Union Privatized Company under TSA >
