Help - Nike from late 90's?

I'm trying to identify some shoes I had back in the late 90's. I can't remember the name of them but looking through some pictures of other shoes around that time these are some that they most resemble.

They were pretty much all black nubuck I think, like the uptempos but had a blue colored swoosh on the toe box that was smaller than the one on the Penny's. They were almost sort of a cross between these two shoes. The didn't have the AIR like that on the side of the uptempos, but did have that mesh style tongue. The shoelace eyelets were more like the Pennys, sort of like a nylon tab. If anyone can help me identify these I would really appreciate it, it has been driving me crazy trying to find an image and/or the name of them.

Wow good call, I think that might be them. I just found a pic of them on sneaker freaker, not the best pic though. I don't remember them having a velcro strap but it was so long ago its possible i just forgot about it.

They actually had a version without the velcro strap, too. I know cuz they were our team shoe in hs wayyyy back in 96.

Can't seem to find a pic tho.

Nice, I'm sure no one is askin for a retro of these but I'd love to have a pair again. I think I wore one pair out and even picked up a second pair I liked them so much.
