Thanks to the support of our fellow community members, our friends at @instyleshoes, @daruma, and @ecapcity, we raised over $4,000 for charity through last month's t-shirt and cap sales.

Where do we go from here? That's up to you!

If you'd like us to produce more NT merchandise, let us know what you'd most like to see next by voting in our poll or joining the discussion.

From the response we received to January's pop up shop event, it seems there's considerable interest in bringing back some of our original designs from previous years.


In addition to the three original color options,

@jayzrdead was kind enough to mock up some new colorways for us in our NT Knows design based on classic cross trainer colorways:

Don't worry, new hats are also in the works - but will require more lead time to produce.

Once the poll closes and we've made our selection(s), new t-shirts should be available in a few weeks.

Should be pre-order based. That way they know exactly how many to print so there aren't any leftovers because posters claimed they wanted one.

As explained in the post, @jayzrdead used Photoshop to mock up the new colorways. We didn’t hire models. The photos came from the t-shirt manufacturer’s website to ensure that the base shirts were accurately represented.

We've used that brand in the past, but they've since been acquired by another company and we wanted to place ethical, sustainable production to the forefront.

We instead selected blank t-shirt from a company that produces t-shirts in the United States using organic cotton.


The roll call design is from 2009, but the response to it from our pop up shop event was strong enough that we decided to make a new run. The originals were in very short supply.

At one point, we moved to a pre-order model for our t-shirts, which meant that there weren't many extras left for those who missed the ordering window. This new run gave those interested a second chance.

We haven't decided yet. Poll participation will influence production. We sold t-shirts last month for $35 shipped. No bidding will be required to own one.

I wouldn't mind a NT running shirt(s/s or l/s). I know that's a huge luxury to suggest but maybe for a summer release in the future.

I like the NT knows on grey too - probably the classic with red but I like the yellow too.

You’re welcome to submit ideas. We’re focused on the next release right now, so it would accelerate matters to have a complete design on hand, but suggestions for the future are always welcome.

We know there’s interest in a sweatshirt for fall/winter, for example.
