Hidden EMOTICONS in text messages.....(maybe Palm users only??)

Delete if old, but I'm just finding out about this so some of yall will probably find this useful...I'm hitting people up with the stoneface all thetime now

By typing in the following characters, you can use the smoking face

and the stoneface

while texting....I have Sprint btw

: | stone face
: ! smoking
: P big tongue
: % yin and yang

(no spaces in between characters)

I have Sprint too, and just texted myself : | (no space)

And it came back : | (no space)

What am I doing wrong?

you can probably only see it on your phone . . unless the person you're texting has the same program / phone.

Someone figure out how to get the SMH face. That'll be tops.

I have a Treo...not exactly sure if it works on other phones but I did send a stoneface to someone who didn't have a treo and they said they got it

For the guy that says it doesn't work maybe you're using a lowercase L ( l) instead of the symbol
