How to know about shoe prices going up or not?

I'm trying to start a shoe game.

Currently I only have LeBron 12s the rest are bad shoes lol.

I'm saving for retro 4 oreos or retro 11 bred lows but how do i know if they will go up in price in the future.

lol. this post made me laugh. but to answer your question, they won't go up in price if you buy them the day they release from a retail store. otherwise, they are going to go up in price on the resale market instantly, just like pretty much every Jordan release the past 5+ years.

Mid to late 2000s it was all about Dunks
2011 to present it is all about Jordan's and limited shoes

Has there ever been a price decrease tho? As far as Retros go. When it fizzles out to predominately the main base, does JB lower the price basically admitting they were cash grabbing at the peak of their hype, or do they hold ground at ridiculous prices? I'm curious to know.
