yupp. if its cotton or wool will definatly shrink.

depends on the fabric. it would suck if your clothes is already pre-shrunk/washed. does polo do that?

I bought those polo bear shirts.. and went a size down in them.. but didn't realize I should of went 2 sizes down..

So I am trying to shrink them to get a more "fitted" fit.

dont use detergent

try on one shirt first. not 5.

I'll explain this as if I was talking to a 4 year old...because then you'll only ruin one shirt instead of 5!

I think I bought them past 30 days now from an outlet.. That outlet is 50 miles away.. i dont want to drive there for no reason..

Wash and dry on the highest temp possible.

Everytime one of my shirt shrinks it always gives me a wierd fit almost ruins the shirt. for exp. chest is tight but then the waist is big.

Just take the L and sell them to someone you know. There's going to be a lot of trial and error.

all t-shirts will shrink a bit when they go in the dryer....White shirts will shrink a bit more than your colors
