Huarache 2K4 and Kobe Question

When exactly did Kobe wear these besides the 2004 season? I was going through the ID thread and I saw pics of him wearing them while he was wearing #24 which leads me to belive was recently. Did he wear them for a season or did he break them out for a few games just like MJ did with a couple of his shoes back in the day.

i think he wore them again when they retro in 2008 i believe.

Nike retroed the Laser 2K4's aka Kobe's model in 2007 and that's why he wore them again.

When the he first wore the 2K4's, all the Laser colorways were an asia exclusive besides the OG White/Silver. In 07 they finally released them in the states.

The Kobe #8 huaraches were awesome. Wish I snagged a pair of the lazers.

Nike released them in 2007. There was the following colorways -Black/Yellow, Black/Purple, White/Purple,White MPLS  and White Laker colorway He wore in the beginning of the 2007-08 season. Theres a whole locked thread about them

Man I still have a pair that I got ID when I was a Nike Employee, Never balled in them.. I think I might break them out and ball in them this week in my league game... They still look pretty much like they did in 04

It feels weird to think that shoe came out like 8 years ago

I remember they were originally slated to be Kobe's sig and there was an 8ball logo on the heel counter instead of the Huarache logo; I think some guy with the username "teamjordan" or something was the first guy with sample pics of the grey/white/blue pair. Anybody have pics of those samples?

he wore them on the latter part of 06 (probably start of season to early 07 (Huarache 2k4 VIVO) based on the manufacture date
