being white DOES help him. nobody can deny that. but that shock factor would have gone away if em wasn't talented with the mic.
the fact of the matter is em is one of the greatest to ever do it, and he's well respected BY HIS PEERS. and he does put out good music for the most part.
how the hell do you explain recovery already matching relapse' album sales and it's only been 2 months? people just don't buy music willy nilly. they gotta like it.
recovery has been a great success for em worldwide, while relapse was a flop (to him of course).
the fact that drake didn't sell as much is b/c his album is boring as hell. he has great talent, but the album was BORING/monotonous.
