look at Carmelo's 07 campaign with Iverson on his team
he consistently put up 30 a night
while Kobe was having huge 40+ games he was less consistent
but Carmelo kept up his 30 a game without too many 40+ games
Carmelo finished averaging 29ppg and Kobe had 31ppg

Just stop it. Carmelo couldn't average 40 per if his life depended on it. And at no point in his life was he the best and most efficient scorer in the L, top 5 maybe. Wade, LeBron, Kobe, Dirk, etc. have always been better. Dude is as overrated as they come...completely one dimensional, and that one dimension isn't even among the very best.
