I don't know, the way ye has been rapping lately and all this kk stuff will definately impact his sellsRumblings on twitter is that Def Jam confirmed Ye album is dropping 6.18...
Unfortuantley thats def gon impact Cole shine man... Hope the album is strong enough to hold its own and not get completely overlooked. Kinda effed up on Ye part if u ask me...
@TiaMowry So I'm hearing J Cole mentioned the sis and I in a song? Send me the link? I'm curious..
@JColeNC: Noooo @tiamowry Don't do itttt
He's on SNL May 18th, and I highly doubt he's just gonna do Mercy and Clique like he's been doing . . . he won't waste an opportunity like that . . .I doubt Kanye will drop on 6/18. maybe that's around the time he'll drop a single for the album...
damn you sure it was 2010, i remember listening to him back then after the XXL cover with him, wiz, and big sean (looking back that was a pretty good class) and remembering his name from BP3 and thinking i was late, and that he already was pretty popularYou're telling me. I saw Cole in 2010 at a tiny venue, 18 dollar tickets... MAYBE 100 people showed up. He's come a long way.i agree 100%. its good to see dudes in my generation blow up.
At this point I would whether have the " over saturate" then not do it at alldamn you sure it was 2010, i remember listening to him back then after the XXL cover with him, wiz, and big sean (looking back that was a pretty good class) and remembering his name from BP3 and thinking i was late, and that he already was pretty popular
Cole and Kendrick should save that album for a while when they both haven't had any material out for a while . . . no need to over saturate . . .
GKMC was his second album. First was Section 80. Do yourself a huge favor and check that if you haven't already.The collab project will come, it may be a mixtape like it was originally planned but it will come. Remember k.dot said he had no plans on starting in his sophomore album anytime soon which gives plenty of time for them to work after Cole's album tour later this year.
I'm sure it's already made or at least they have enough quality tracks to throw together 12 tracks in a worse case scenario, i was just saying, if i were them, i wouldn't want to drop born sinner, then the joint album right after, and now they're both dry, off the radar for the next year or soAt this point I would whether have the " over saturate" then not do it at alldamn you sure it was 2010, i remember listening to him back then after the XXL cover with him, wiz, and big sean (looking back that was a pretty good class) and remembering his name from BP3 and thinking i was late, and that he already was pretty popularCole and Kendrick should save that album for a while when they both haven't had any material out for a while . . . no need to over saturate . . .
To me rap is lacking seriously
We are "over saturated " with all this fake trap/twerk/trill music
Why not let these boys cook whether it is a mix tape or not?

And the collab album won't be coming anytime soon. If you remember, when they first announced it, it was supposed to be called Born Sinner. So they've obviously scrapped the idea or postponed it for a later date.
