How does the blue match up? I ordered some laces but it wasn't royal blue because it looked too dark to me.

Royal blue is close, but a bit darker than photo blue.
I'll try to get a close up shot where it's easier to tell the difference..

I think these will mimic bred toe prices for a while, but eventually, because of the name/hyped attached, will go up even further.

Now is ABSOLUTELY the time to buy if you're on the fence. They will not get much lower. We've all seen this game show 100 times.
