Jordan 4 with a Different Jordan Sole Swap

So here’s my situation. I have a pair of Jordan 4 Fire Reds and the midsoles are terrible. I have a pair of Jordan Flights that have the Jordan 3 mid and outsoles. They are the same size but has anyone ever tried to swap a different midsole to another Jordan shoe?
