It doesn't necessarily mean they're fake but most likely they are pre-releases and are not the same shoe released on release day from stores like footlocker, footaction, finishline etc. In my opinion they are not authentic but that is only my opinion. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Look fake to me. The tongues on this year's 4s are like mountains. They're ridiculously high.

Fake.

Tongue's too short, netting looks bad with squares a tad too big, and the most noticeable thing is the heel tab. Too high from the heel support bump.

(all of this in comparison to my RD pair purchased from FTL)

Tongue too short and the midsole has not enough speckles on it,

2. grey is to dark
3. not as much speckles
4. inner part of the tongue on the 2012 model should be black not white.
