I have no idea, if I were to guess I'd say it's because they buy shoes based on what looks good to them instead of what's deemed "cool." I'd also guess that Jordan is Jordan to them so they see all Jordan branded shoes as being of equal stature where in our culture we basically deem anything outside of the og retro line as being lesser products. I'm making assumptions so don't take my word for it, you'd probably have to ask them directly to get an accurate answer.

Why did they remove the woven pattern from the back….. I passed on the red because they removed that feature

These took NYC by storm when they first came out but I assume it's because it filled a void left by a lack of numbered Jordans not being released at the time... People were yearning for Jordans and this was all there was iirc (6 rings was another one)

But now, these serve no purpose
