wings are a horrible example first off there 12's thats a negative already, lol 2nd the big hype was that they were numbered but there was hundreds of unnumbered pairs being sold even by nike. plus a drop in at least two nike stores...plus they look like doo doo in person. these on the other hand high quality Plus a collab with famous artists.Limited Jordan values are all over the place...some have fallen over time like the Wing 12s while others have risen and continue to do so like the fragment 1s. I think these will settle at about $1.3k in the near future but who knows what will happen down the road. I decided not to cop for $1.6k and will just wait it out.
The Wing 12s were exactly what I had in mind. It's a good example too because we know there are roughly 12,000 pairs worldwide.
best is to wait for a price you're comfortable with paying. If it never dips that low, then just move on. Where are you located btw?So is the consensus to wait for prices to dip if you're planning on paying resell ?
I'm looking for a legit pair (size 10) and don't wanna take any chances with goat or stock X. Been a Kaws fan for years so this is more of a collectible item for me so I care more about the quality / authenticity more than the price .
SG has a pair but box is damaged .
FC right now is my #1 choice .
These for retail? I wouldn't have even wasted my timeHey NT, so last nite I met up with a guy selling his Kaws 4 for retail. Knowing they were fake of course I decided to go there and check them out anyways. And yes they were UA pairs. The guy said he got them from urban neccesities in LV. He showed me the UN receipt and CC charge from them.
I thought Urban Neccesities was a legit place and well known in the sneaker community? thanks.
that doesn't make sense. The guy purchased them from UN for retail? and then tried to sell it to you for retail? what?

The guy gave me a story...hes a dad and selling his sons jordans as punishment for his son skipping classes and poor grades..

people been making comments about UN selling fakes for a while. Guess they really do sell fakes.

so the guy selling it to me has no idea what these are...mind you I didn't know he got them from UN until checking the sneakers out and talking to him..
but I truly believed he didn't know the resell price on these, sounded like he didn't care since he was a lawyer...just wanted to teach his son a lesson by selling all his kicks which used his (dad) cc to buy...but whatever
but I already told him about the importance and exclusiveness of these and that the fact his son got both of these for retail at UN makes no sense, but since he knows nothing abt these, its not registering to him...
also, his son always get kicks from UN, and the others obv are real but just this time UN sent him fakes...just thought this was weird since UN is a legit place.
well theyre a consignment shop..but still I thought theyre legit

haha thx man...ill be more than happy to oop you the sellers contact info..he'll sell to you with the quickness now I think...hes currently asking UN for a refundBe quiet fam. Shoes were real you're just a goofy. Going off of your story I would've copped with the quickness. Dad didn't have a clue and you let him get away?
he could of been a scammer. He could of printed a receipt at home and made the whole story up.
well if his son used his dad's credit card to buy AND the dad even brought the shoes with the receipt from UN, then he should know how much it was worth. Unless his card was charged retail by UN. Which would already make this whole transaction fishy. How did you know they were obvious fakes?
wasn't even thinking of making anything off these..but just really like the collabo and since I struck out everywhere...was just gonna keep these for retail..but obv these are really rareStory seems really weird, but you could make good paper even off of a fake for $350. I still wouldn't mess with it
nope..no ducktales here..just telling you guys the things that transpired last nite..have no reason to make anything up, just met up with a guy to check out these Kaws (knew it was too good to be true) and this is what happened...
I don't know whose story is more ducktales than the other, the seller's story or the buyer telling the story of the seller.
well the quality of the UAs were bad man...stitching was off, theres no Jordan 4 bump in the back, materials felt cheap in hand, the bottoms traction and stars were off...and the KAWS label in the inside tongue was starting to unglue off...just overall bad quality that a premium shoe like KAWS would not be reflecting
