Everything isn't for everyone but I would assume you just had bad batches from a bad store.

But again, I could very well be wrong and you legit find IT very average

popeyes and kfc chicken is ok. There's Kennedy's fried chicken here which I like better.

also korean fried chicken varies with it sauce and some sauces are on point while others are whack.

but if i want fast food classic fried chicken, then i'd go to popeyes with that butter milk biscuit

KFC mashed potatoes and gravy and their Cole slaw are good
Churches fried okra is good when it's just out the vat and not soggy
Have not had many Popeyes sides

Depends on the specific side.

I haven't had KFC in close to 20 years but I remember their Wedges being good.
