There are specific tells with each specific shoe. Certain areas you learn that reps get wrong and certain areas you want to focus on.

With the Jordan 4 you want to look at overall shape, the toe box, the tongue shape, tongue patch with the jumpman logo, side netting and netting direction along with the heel tabs, jumpman shape/position on the heel tabs and air bubble shape and color. Stitching should be observed as well. Box and box label is another area you should look at as part of a LC especially if you look at all the above areas and still aren’t sure. Box label font, placement and is it cleanly printed. The way that I learned how to legit check was I started hanging around this site in this forum and it’s OG members. I googled A LOT and hit up YouTube ( “ fake vs real Jordan 4 cool grey “ or whatever shoe your interested in ) and I also collect.

Reddit is another good site to hang around and lurk and see what members are saying about particular shoes and what areas. You’ll learn little by little and you’ll start piecing things together. I’m heading to bed soon but I can private message you tomorrow and can explain specifics and what to look for with the Jordan 4 in particular.
